The proposal operates in a site where soil and air pollution prohibits urban development. By involving community members, the project explores environmental and social resilience by the addition of native prairie vegetation to remediate contaminated sites within Englewood. It aims to generate impactful outcomes with a small amount of resources, while understanding that Englewood is a community defined by its history and is a place with a strong identity.
