This is a project about hope in a community reeling from the impact of socioeconomic disparity and about turning the derelict twentieth century Kenwood Line into a catalyst of the twenty-first century. By renovating the Green Line’s Indiana Station, the Kenwood Line’s new train platform would become a gateway into this neighborhood. Publicly owned private spaces and pop-up shops would run parallel to the Museum of Contemporary Art’s public art “Vault,” all against a natural conservatory background.
